Component Flashing Required
This transmission requires professional-level flashing, encoding, and immobilizer programming specific to your application. These procedures differ from standard BMW FDL coding and are not DIY-friendly. Do not purchase this transmission unless you are trained and equipped with a BMW immobilizer programming device and BMW programming tools. A smartphone BMW coding app or DIY scan tool will not be able to complete these procedures.
Professional Installation Required
This transmission must be installed by a certified automotive technician. The installation procedure is not DIY-friendly. Do not purchase this if you cannot make arrangements for professional installation.

This transmission is used. It should be properly serviced and prepared by an ASE or BMW certified facility prior to installation. For optimal performance, consumables such as seals, filters, gaskets, hardware, and other wear items should be replaced or refurbished. For enhanced reliability, replacing components like clutches, bearings, solenoids, valve body seals, and mechatronics is also recommended.
Returns
This transmission can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Unless other arrangements have been approved, this transmission must be returned using the same delivery service, in the same condition, and packed as originally received.
If this transmission has been installed, programmed, coded, modified, or tampered with, it is no longer eligible for a return under this policy.
See warranty details below for coverage after installation. You are responsible to carefully review the photos. No returns will be accepted for cosmetic defects that are clearly photographed.
Warranty
This transmission is guaranteed to be free of major defects for 14 days after delivery. Warranty returns and exchanges are processed individually, at our discretion. If this transmission has been installed, supporting documentation for the warranty return or exchange is required.
At a minimum, supporting documentation should include records of proper installation and procedures performed by an ASE or BMW certified facility, along with clear documentation of the failure mode.
Known issues inherent to this transmission may not be covered.
Refunds and exchanges apply exclusively to this transmission only. No compensation will be provided for any additional expenses incurred. These uncovered costs include labor, rental cars, additional parts, fluids, materials, tools, and similar items.
