Pre-owned Transmission/Transfer-case Disclaimer
This transfer case is used. It should be properly serviced and prepared by an ASE or BMW certified facility prior to installation. For optimal performance, consumables such as seals, filters, gaskets, hardware, and other wear items should be replaced or refurbished. For enhanced reliability, replacing components like clutches, bearings, solenoids, valve body seals, and mechatronics is also recommended.
Returns
This transfer case can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Unless other arrangements have been approved, this transfer case must be returned using the same delivery service, in the same condition, and packed as originally received.
If this transfer case has been installed, modified, or tampered with, it is no longer eligible for a return under this policy.
See warranty details below for coverage after installation. You are responsible to carefully review the photos. No returns will be accepted for cosmetic defects that are clearly photographed.
Warranty
This transfer case is guaranteed to be free of major defects for 14 days after delivery. Warranty returns and exchanges are processed individually, at our discretion. If this transfer case has been installed, supporting documentation for the warranty return or exchange is required.
At a minimum, supporting documentation should include records of proper installation and procedures performed by an ASE or BMW certified facility, along with clear documentation of the failure mode.
Known issues inherent to this transfer case may not be covered.
Refunds and exchanges apply exclusively to this transfer case only. No compensation will be provided for any additional expenses incurred. These uncovered costs include labor, rental cars, additional parts, fluids, materials, tools, and similar items.
