Component Programming Required
This head unit requires professional programming and encoding specific to your application. These procedures differ from standard BMW FDL coding and are not DIY-friendly. Do not purchase this head unit unless you are knowledgeable and equipped with factory BMW programming tools or a high-end third-party BMW programming device. A smartphone BMW coding app or DIY scan tool will not be sufficient to complete these procedures.
Professional Installation Required
This head unit must be installed by a certified automotive technician. The installation procedure is not DIY-friendly. Do not purchase this if you cannot make arrangements for professional installation.

Returns
This head unit can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Unless other arrangements have been approved, this head unit must be returned using the same delivery service, in the same condition, and packed as originally received.
If this head unit has been installed, programmed, coded, modified, or tampered with, it is no longer eligible for a return under this policy.
See warranty details below for coverage after installation. You are responsible to carefully review the photos. No returns will be accepted for cosmetic defects that are clearly photographed.
Warranty
This head unit is guaranteed to be free of major defects for 14 days after delivery. Warranty returns and exchanges are processed individually, at our discretion. If this head unit has been installed, supporting documentation for the warranty return or exchange is required.
At a minimum, supporting documentation should include records of proper installation and procedures performed by an ASE or BMW certified facility, along with clear documentation of the failure mode.
Known issues inherent to this head unit may not be covered.
Refunds and exchanges apply exclusively to this head unit only. No compensation will be provided for any additional expenses incurred. These uncovered costs include labor, rental cars, additional parts, fluids, materials, tools, and similar items.
All returns are thoroughly reviewed, and Projekt Auto Parts reserves the right to pursue legal action against any fraudulent or abusive parties.
