Important Notices
Fitment Information
Install new injector decouplers. The 6 digit injector calibration code must be coded to the DME. Ideally all injectors on one bank share the same index, all index 12 or all index 11.
Component Programming Required
This fuel injector requires professional programming and encoding specific to your application. These procedures differ from standard BMW FDL coding and are not DIY-friendly. Do not purchase this fuel injector unless you are knowledgeable and equipped with factory BMW programming tools or a high-end third-party BMW programming device. A smartphone BMW coding app or DIY scan tool will not be sufficient to complete these procedures.
Professional Installation Required
This fuel injector must be installed by a certified automotive technician. The installation procedure is not DIY-friendly. Do not purchase this if you cannot make arrangements for professional installation.
Vehicle Verification Required
Please contact us with your VIN so we can confirm this fuel injector is compatible with your vehicle. If we do not receive your VIN promptly, we may cancel your order.
Item Details
This fuel injector has been inspected and tested by a certified technician.
Please review the high-resolution photos carefully. Your purchase of this fuel injector constitutes acceptance of its visual condition and any cosmetic imperfections.
Returns
This fuel injector can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Unless other arrangements have been approved, this fuel injector must be returned using the same delivery service, in the same condition, and packed as originally received.
If this fuel injector has been installed, programmed, coded, modified, or tampered with, it is no longer eligible for a return under this policy.
See warranty details below for coverage after installation. You are responsible to carefully review the photos. No returns will be accepted for cosmetic defects that are clearly photographed.
Warranty
This fuel injector is guaranteed to be free of major defects for 14 days after delivery. Warranty returns and exchanges are processed individually, at our discretion. If this fuel injector has been installed, supporting documentation for the warranty return or exchange is required.
At a minimum, supporting documentation should include records of proper installation and procedures performed by an ASE or BMW certified facility, along with clear documentation of the failure mode.
Known issues inherent to this fuel injector may not be covered.
Refunds and exchanges apply exclusively to this fuel injector only. No compensation will be provided for any additional expenses incurred. These uncovered costs include labor, rental cars, additional parts, fluids, materials, tools, and similar items.
All returns are thoroughly reviewed, and Projekt Auto Parts reserves the right to pursue legal action against any fraudulent or abusive parties.
